About Jonathan Curth

I can’t wait to meet you! I currently serve as one of your Councilman (Alderman #5) on the City Council of Piney Point Village.

My wife (Meg) and I have lived in Piney Point Village since early 2019 with our two sons, daughter, poodle and, until recently, our sweet pug.

First and foremost, my family LOVES Piney Point. We are a small community of ~1,000 households, and the sense of community makes Piney Point an idyllic community to raise our children. Although the community is based on a solid foundation, there is always room for improvement, and there are a few issues that haven’t been adequately addressed.

I consider my job centered around doing what is best to enhance our community, and, ultimately, doing what YOU want. In the near term, I will outline in a series of letters my outlook and vision as YOUR next Mayor of Piney Point Village.

I was raised in San Antonio, Texas, and Meg was raised in Lubbock, Texas, but we have loved living in the Houston area since 2010 where we have had three children. I used to think the rodeo was a big deal growing up, until I experienced the “actual rodeo” in Houston!

My father was born in Argentina, and my mother’s side is primarily from Cuba. I was raised hearing the difficult stories my family endured living outside the United States, and I am beyond blessed and grateful to raise my children under different circumstances.

Please follow my Instagram page. My cell phone number is (713) 853-9467, and my email is VoteCurth@gmail.com. I have my perspectives and ideas, but I am always excited to hear directly from you! Please email, text, or call anytime!
